Ropes Courses Incorporated Now Hiring Project Manager – Manufacturing

Job Summary: The Project Manager (PM) is a highly visible position that will develop relationships with assigned clients and work directly with them to ensure that deliverables fall within the applicable scope for Quality, On-time Delivery and budget. The PM will facilitate, document, communicate and be responsible for planning, administering and ensuring completion of client assigned projects, which will cross several functional areas, such as sales, engineering, operations, marketing or administration. PM will coordinate with RCI internal departments to ensure all aspects of each project are being completed to client specifications and delivered on-time. The job requires some overtime hours specifically around project deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Meet with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing and Service departments to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
  • Attend daily manufacturing and operations meetings
  • Participate in all project launch meetings
  • Communicate regularly, internally and externally, any changes in Project Scope and/or Schedule.
  • Perform post project review to analyze financials for profit or loss and identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Create, Maintain and Track project performance using Sales Force and other corporate software(s) to be identified, to specifically analyze the completion of short- and long-term deadlines and forecasting of future projects and maintain full transparency across all departments.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients and internal departments to ensure that project status’s are communicated in a timely manner to ensure client expectations are met and/or fully communicated
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills
  • Follow all safety standards and procedures
  • Work independently and be a self-motivator
  • Able to work within timelines
  • Contribute to the quality control of the project
  • All other duties as assigned on a daily basis

Knowledge/Experience Required:

  • Five (5) years’ experience in project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in management, business or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal, non-verbal and written communications skills
  • Experience with process improvement and inventory control
  • Advanced time management and analytical skills
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force, Microsoft Excel, Gantt
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge in all MS Office applications
  • Ability to perform all tasks with confidence, precision and strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized with exceptional problem solving skills
  • Creativity with an emphasis on fostering teamwork and building relationships
  • Effective time management
